ABOUT THE WILLIAMSTOWN LACROSSE ASSOCIATION
The Williamstown Lacrosse Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to teach and support the game of lacrosse in an environment of safety, respect and FUN. The club supports boys and girls youth lacrosse in Williamstown and surrounding towns. The association is a member of US Lacrosse Organization the national organizing body for lacrosse.
In a joint effort with the Williamstown Youth Center and from the input of parents, coaches and volunteers the WLA endeavors to foster the following:
> Sportsmanship > A sense of individual achievement > A sense of the value of teamwork > Positive self-esteem > We encourage and are committed to provide this opportunity to as many young people as possible

The Williamstown Lacrosse Association follows the youth sports philosophy espoused by the Positive Coaching Alliance, a Stanford University-based organization that with a mission to "transform youth sports so sports can transform youth."
