U-11 Boys Travel Team

New and experienced players are welcome to play on the U-11 Boys Travel - "Bantam" level lacrosse. This is a great age to get introduced to this fast and exciting game - players need not have any experience. This is our fifth year that WLAX will field a competitive team at this grade level. The team is open to all students located in Williamstown and surrounding towns who are currently in either the 3rd or 4th grade (or younger) and meet the below age requirement.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
Thanks to our sponsors and private donations over the past few years we are in a position to ensure that no child will be turned away due to financial restrictions or hardships (including equipment costs and registration fees). Our Association has a limited supply of boys equipment packages (helmets, gloves, arm pads and shoulder pads) that we will loan "as is". Parents/Guardians will need to sign an equipment waiver when borrowing equipment for the season. Please contact Jeff Stripp, to make arrangements:

ALSO RECOMMENDED:

During the early season practices it is cold and sometimes rainy.  If that is the case, then please layer your child with outer and under layer clothing.  The clothing should be blue, white or black in color.  We suggest clothing  such as:

1.  Polypropylene full-sleeve jersey (worn under the equipment).
2.  A thin water resistant breathable top
3. Polypropylene long under shorts.
4. Water resistent running warm up pants

Dont dress your child in a winter coat or ski pants since we will run a lot and the extra layers will increase the risk of overheating.
