Tier One Lacrosse
U-13, U-15 and U17 Developmental Teams
The 2010 Spring/Summer U-13, U15 and U-17 Developmental Teams will consist of the areas top young lacrosse playersfrom Berkshire County, MA, Southern Vermont and nearby towns in New York. The 2010 Summer season will feature boys teams at the following age levels/divisions: U-13, U-15, U-17.
Each team will receive advanced instruction from top area coaches and includes participation in 3-4 elite summer tournaments. Particpation is by invitation only after all tryouts have been completed.
Eligibility: For each age division you must not have reached that age prior to December 31, 2009.
As an example, a player for the U13 team may not be 13 years of age on or before December 31, 2009 to be eligible for that team. Accordingly, players that turn 13 after December 31, 2009 are eligible to play on the U13 team. Check below for birth year dates and respective teams.
- If you were born in the years 1996 or 1997 you are eligible for the U-13 Team
- If you were born in the year 1995 or 1994 you are eligible for the U-15 Team
- If you were born in the year 1993 or 1992 you are eligible for the U-17 Team
Tentative 2010 Tournament Schedule
- March 5-11, 2010 / St. Petersburg, FL
- July 2010 / Mass-ELite Tournament, Groton, MA
- July 2010 / UMASS Mid-Summer Classic
- July 2010 / CT Chargers Tournament
- August 2010 / Lake Placid Tournament
Note: Each team is slated to compete in 3 tournaments in July and 1 in August. Practices: Practices will be held 1 times per week starting in March through May and than 2X per week leading up to the tournaments. Each practice will be highly organized with a focus on individual skills and team concepts.
Players: Each team will consist of approximately 18-22 players with two coaches per team and additional coaching from other members of the Top Tier staff.
Tryouts: Each age group will have tryout sessions in mid May. Tryout schedule TO BE ANNOUNCED.
