SPORTS CONCUSSIONS

Concussions are a very serious condition and unfortunately, one that occurs in the Lacrosse world with more frequency than we would like. While WLA will be taking steps on training our coaches how to recognize the possibility of a head injury, it is also up to you as the parent to make the best choice for your child.  

Please take the time to read these articles in this section so you, as a parent, can make the best decision.  Baseline testing (which must be done BEFORE an injury occurs) is available in the event that your child does suffer a concussion, your doctors will have a "go to" point to assure your child is free from additional risk. Standardized baseline testing is available through BMC 1-413-395-7694.
